Nvidia is reportedly refusing to honor warranties on RTX 5090 graphics cards if the physical serial number on the device has faded, even when the card is clearly under warranty. Customers are finding that minor cosmetic blemishes on the sticker are enough for the company to void support for hardware that now costs over $6,000.
